Chapter Text
Mrs Mayberry narrates that she was a good person all her life before it all went down; Mrs Mayberry is shown in the schoolhouse opening it up with the bell ringing and birds out the window.
Charlie and Emily beamed at the cheerful imagery of what was on the screen, Lucifer smiled along with Vaggie and Blitzo gagged.
She says good morning to her students and they start singing about loving to do their homework and their teacher; they then answer the questions and then state the date and it ends with the kid with the dunce cap saying that it's her husband's birthday.
"Oh my... This is wonderful... Is this how the human world can be like..." Charlie said with a huge smile thinking of how better this looked than seeing an unsympathetic news crew interviewing a mother with a missing child.
"I know that Earth could be like Heaven in places..." Emily said as Blitzo's eyes widened and he almost jumped out of his seat.
"f*ck... I remember this story and this voice... I think that this is back to us people!" Blitzo shouted out pulling his workers and daughter together with them staring at him. "This is also where you f*cked up and made up with it when you killed that bitch Mox!" Blitzo then told Moxxie who thought it over.
"What are you talking..." Moxxie asked but then paused in horrified realisation as he remembered an incident not long after the one in the previous episode that was starring them. There were frowns at Moxxie's face from everyone else as to what they could be talking about as Millie kissed her husband on the cheek.
"This doesn't give me a good feeling..." Sera muttered as Vaggie had to agree with her as this lessened Charlie and Emily's smile.
Mrs Mayberry stops and has her chalk on the chalkboard and is close to freaking out; she faces them to say that she forgot to get him something special.
"Well... That is unsettling..." Emily muttered as Charlie gasped.
"I would never forgive myself if I did the same for you..." Charlie told Vaggie suddenly who just chuckled.
"Don't worry hon... I wouldn't mind if you did but just don't go overboard in tyring to make up for it..." Vaggie whispered back at her.
Lucifer thought to the one time he did forget Lilith's birthday and went all overboard in tyring to rectify it... Them both and the Sins sworn to secrecy and to never let Charlie know about it as it was before she was born.
A girl suggests that she can do a video call for a message. Back at her house; the clothes of Martha and Jarrold are being shoved to the computer and one turns the computer on with Mrs Mayberry having to watch with the kids behind her.
Emily's eyes widened as Charlie gasped out loud; "Oh my... Her husband was cheating on her and she and her charges had to see..." Charlie muttered aghast.
Stolas frowned when he noticed Octavia looking away not wanting to remind herself of her parents' rocky marriage before they had gotten divorced.
Mrs Mayberry gets up and the girl tries to remind her about thinking before acting; she then gets picked up by the throat and shoved by the teacher through the roof as she then leaves.
"Well... Can't say that I blame her for not being in the right state of mind but her doing this to the poor kid..." Vaggie muttered with a frown.
"I don't think that I want to keep watching..." Charlie muttered having a bad feeling about this as Sera was already shielding Emily's eyes; able to tell where this was headed.
The kids sees her car leaves through the window and on the monitor; they watch but the screen shows form the behind as Jarrold reacts to Mrs Mayberry coming in and chainsaw sounds are heard against as Martha's blood gets thrown, Mrs Mayberry said that they could have had a family as a gunshot is heard and overs the screen with blood.
Charlie gasped and was almost ready to cry along with Emily; Sera pulled Emily in as the head Seraphim shook her head and Charlie held Vaggie's hand to support her.
"If it makes you feel any better princess... The asshole had no good taste considering who he was cheating on his wife with..." Blitzo then muttered to them.
"Hang on... Does she stay close to the schoolhouse and if it was that close... Why drive at all..." Moxxie asked having felt a bit uncomfortable with the whole thing but realised this.
"Of all the things to focus on..." Sera muttered shaking her head.
Mrs Mayberry wipes it away and realises what she has done in front of them and they faint as she gives off another gunshot.
Charlie sat there solemnly with Vaggie as Emily wiped away tears from her eyes.
Mrs Mayberry is finishing talking to Blitzo in his office about playing by the rules in life but still gets sent down there with all the Hitlers and Epsteins after one massacre; Blitzo angers Mrs Mayberry with not understanding the melodrama of her story and then says that they go after the living and it sounds like those that she hates are down there as well.
"Oh come on... The story was melodramatic as hell along with how she was telling it..." Blitzo muttered with the looks he was getting.
"Well... She did overreact and her actions sent her to here but it sounded like she tried so hard to be good but cracked at seeing the wrong thing..." Charlie said feeling sympathy but then her eyes widened. "You think that you could get me into contact with her?" Charlie asked facing IMP and Loona ended up giving her a quick nod.
"Let me guess... You want her to check into the hotel..." Vaggie asked Charlie and she responded by touching her nose saying that she knows her so well.
Mrs Mayberry explains that Martha survived and gets called a hero by the press as she is in bed surrounded by family and gets a check for 2 million dollars, a montage of her getting called a hero including her and her husband going at it and the class with a session of dealing with trauma.
"Even her old students..." Stolas muttered shaking her head as Emily overd her eyes at seeing them getting at it.
"Well... Can you blame them... Mrs Mayberry wouldn't be alive to tell her side of the story..." Sera then told the Ars Goetia prince.
"...Her husband didn't know about the cheating..." Stolas asked eyebrows raised.
"Could just be that they had an open marriage..." Emily pointed out as Stolas shrugged.
Charlie looked at Martha, Ralphie and the kids and thought about something.
Mrs Mayberry shouts at Blitzo as she then has her hands on his desk to look tell him that she isn't a hero.
"She isn't wrong... Trust me on this..." Blitzo said as Vaggie frowned along with the angels.
Vaggie looked to Charlie who looked like she was trying to remember something. "Something on your mind Charlie..." Vaggie asked as Charlie shook her head.
"I am sure that it will come to me..." Charlie said simply.
He then clicks a button which then cuts to Blitzo trying to target a picture of a family and Millie tries to get him to stop shaking as he would shoot their only Hellhound, Loona is holding up the picture while on her back on the clouch on her phone saying that she is so loved. Milie wants him to take a deep breath but Moxxie asks what circ*mstances would they need to kill a human family, maybe a sh*tty dad or a mob family.
"You are trying to get him to be ready to shoot an innocent family..." Emily asked glaring at IMP as Millie sighed but Blitzo glared at the demon with Charlie also frowning.
"We can't be picky with the targets..." Millie said as Blitzo looked at Moxxie.
"sh*t Mox... I now realise... You probably knew what you were talking about with a mob family there..." Blitzo said as Moxxie sighed with Millie looked tense with her eyes widening at the reminder.
Everyone else looked at them; "You know Crimson of the Greed Ring... Moxxie's old man..." Blitzo explained as Stolas had his eyes widened and Charlie gasped.
"...One of the top crime bosses of all of Hell..." Stolas muttered as Sera and Emily had their eyes at this.
"sh*t... I think I remember Ozzie mentioning that bastard kidnapping his boyfriend to me once..." Lucifer muttered and Charlie nodded having heard the story.
"I guess being raised by a mob father would have had you ready to be a hired killer..." Sera said as Moxxie shrank into his seat at this and MIllie hugged him and glared hard at Sera who realised that she had hit a nerve.
Moxxie complains about the idea of killing an innocent family and Loona tells him that he doesn't know that they are innocent and gives ideas of what the kids and the dad is up to and Millie says that humans are full of nasties and that's why they end up down there.
"Pessimitic..." Sera muttered shaking her head as Blitzo looked his way.
"Tell me oh great and holy bitchness... Does Heaven have an overpopulation problem... You needed an annual extermination to cut down the Sinners in Hell..." Blitzo retorted back to Sera who shook her head.
"Still Sera... Still shows that there can be good and morals out of the hellborn..." Emily said smiling at Moxxie with Sera nodding and Charlie gave him a thumbs up with him being stunned by this.
Milie kisses him on the cheek and tells him to shoot the target and Moxxie complains before Blitzo slams the door open setting Moxxie off and the arrow flies around the room and goes through the picture, the end of the eel fish tank and and Blitzo catches the arrow as the eel fish tank falls over and sets the room up in fire with Blitzo angry at him.
"Do you know how much those eels cost Moxxie?" demands Blitzo as Moxxie glares at him with everyone else giving Blitzo looks.
"That was clearly your f*cking fault sir!" Moxxie then retorted as Millie separated them before they could fight some more.
IMP are outside the window with the fire service going in as Mrs Mayberry's taxi leaves and Blitzo angrily complaints to Moxxie and demands that the book is still intact. Loona takes the book out as Blitzo's billboard using speech to text is shown.
"We managed to get the cash for that billboard but... Blitzo made it so that no one would have the slightest f*cking clue as to what it was supposed to mean..." Moxxie sighed as Blitzo glared at him with everyone else just staring at the sign but Stolas smiled at it.
Blitzo offers Loona a treat but ends up eating it himself as Millie opens up the portal for IMP to go through with Millie correcting Blitzo on kicking some ass.
Loona sighs as there were grossed out looks at this. "Sorry but is Loona supposed to be your daughter or pet?" Sera asked as Blitzo glared hard at her.
"She is a valued member of our organisation and my own pride and joy!" Blitzo snapped at her as everyone watched and Loona looked at him gratefully for a second..
IMP hides by the window and Blitzo looks through the window and offers Moxxie this one but spots the family getting ready for dinner as guns and a head mounted on the wall is shown.
"Moxxie getting the cold feet..." sighed Blitzo judgementally shaking his head as Moxxie groans at this.
Emily and Sera didn't have a good feeling about this.
"What is that mounted with the guns..." LUcifer asked as they noticed this and their eyes widened at this.
"Was so focused before..." Moxxie muttered shaking his head.
"I already know that I am not going to like this..." Vaggie muttered dreading this.
Blitzo aims the gun and Moxxie complains about killing a family but ends up getting Blitzo to miss the shot. Ralph gets up and gets a gun to say that they will have whoever that is as the next dinner with them getting guns out.
IMP felt tense remembering what was next.
"Wait... They don't know that it could be an animal..." Emily pointed out eyes widened as they felt tense.
Charlie silently gasped and looked to Vaggie; "I knew this family looked familiar... I saw them all demon like when I was at Cannibal Town..." Charlie explained in a whisper as Vaggie groaned.
"I heard that there were humans on Earth in the US obesessed with guns but to see them so obsessed that the kids had them ready..." Sera muttered to herself.
Moxxie hyperventilates as Blitzo angrily rants at Moxxie with him being apologetic; Blitzo then continues ranting at him as a gun hole is shot through the wall. Moxxie is caught as the rest then runs away.
"The kind of hellborn that yells at your worker for showing principles..." Sera told Blitzo judgementally as Charlie managed to nod as she and Emily smiled at Moxxie's direction along with Sera doing the same. Moxxie felt nice about the looks but things became tense when the chase began.
Ralphie hunts for Millie who jumps in the water and then jumps up and dodges but gets hit by a beer bottle and is knocked out.
Moxxie jumped and embraced his wife; "I was alright..." Millie said with a smile but nonetheless hugged her husband back.
Moxxie awakens to be tied up at the table with the kids looking creepily at him and Moxxie looks at the creepy decorations of the house with Moxxie looking at the human corpse meal on the table.
"A family of cannibals..." Emily ended up screaming out loud as they were put off by this.
"Those cannibals always give me the creeps... Smiling like Alastor..." Lucifer groaned thinking of seeing them in the last episode.
"Gives me flashbacks of Texas Chainsaw Massacre..." Sera muttered to herself shaking her head; watching horror films with Winners who were fans were always a guilty pleasure for her.
Blitzo gets chased by Martha who cackles through the forest, Blitzo hides behind a tree but gets a call and it's Stolas who is in a bathtub who brings up his grimoire that he allowed Blitzo to use less than legally but needs it back to do his duties; Blitzo continues getting chased as Stolas says that once a month on the full moon Stolas gets the book back and a night of passion and the rest of the time Blitzo gets to keep it.
Stolas smiled weakly as Octavia sighed looking away as he got disgusted judgemental looks his way. "Be prepared for the long talk we will be having princey..." Lucifer warned him shaking his head.
"Using your book to extort... Services from Blitzo..." ranted Charlie glaring at Blitzo getting some reminders of Valentino with Angel Dust.
"I... I don't have words... That I want to state out loud anyway..." muttered Emily.
Stolas just looked away as everyone else looked away slowly and Sera muttered underneath her breath with her face still showing absolute disgust.
Blitzo agrees as he hides behind a tree as Stolas says what he can't wait to feel and it's censored; Martha catches Blitzo asking if he is there to drag her and her kin to Hell, calls him Satan and will send them all back where they came.
"Yeah... No... Uncle Satan doesn't look like him..." Charlie said shaking her head as the angels looked her way at her words along with the other demons.
"Yeah... The Sins are close friends and are honorary aunts and uncles of my darling..." Lucifer said as Charlie cheerfully nodded.
"Would that include that greedy sell out hasbeen Mammon?" Blitzo asked as Charlie nodded.
"Charlie brings out his small generous and kind side." Lucifer then replied as Blitzo found that hard to believe that he had such a side.
Moxxie sees the lights out the window and sees the girl with a knife as he manages to get the knife to free himself. Moxxie jumps out of the window with the gun and runs out.
Millie cheers on her husband with Moxxie smiling, Loona looked like she was even rooting for him with her face expression. Blitzo gave him a thumbs up grinning remembering that he saved him and Millie both and they could count on him.
Blitzo and Millie are tied around a pole as Ralphie douses them; Martha begins chanting for a satanic ritual and uses a torch to light the fire but it does nothing with Blitzo mocking her.
Most looked amused as angels looked their way feeling creeped out; "I didn't think that it would work..." Sera said shaking her head.
"I bet Uncle Satan would be happy to have them returned..." Charlie said finding this amusing.
"I heard that there were devil worshippers on Earth but..." Emily muttered feeling creeped out as Sera looked his way.
"What... You want me to feel flattered that I have these idiots worshipping me or Satan..." Lucifer asked arms folded shaking his head.
Martha readies her shotgun but gets shot through the eye from the back of her forehead by Moxxie.
The angels looked away as most were cheering on Moxxie with him feeling proud.
Moxxie frees them and hugs his wife with Blitzo saying that he isn't getting his paycheck for this. Raphie runs away as Moxxie helps Blitzo up as he apologises with Blitzo warning him about if he pulls a stunt like that again.
Blitzo just sighed as he got looks.
Moxxie says he has to get something he left at the house as Blitzo calls Loona to get them home.
Moxxie looked away groaning as most didn't have a good feeling about this; "What is it now Mox... What happened..." Blitzo groaned.
Ralphie gets his kids together in the house hugging them but Moxxie finds them with the shotgun. Moxxie calls them monsters and the children should have a chance at a future with the father facing his crimes as he calls the authorities but ends up putting the TV on as he has the remote. Raphie telsl him that the phone is in the kitchen and the universal remote was got for the kids which Moxxie finds nice.
Charlie and the angels found nice; "Wow... Even the monstrous cannibals have humanity..." Sera muttered feeling conflicted about this.
"Rosie sure helped me out!" said Charlie grinning.
"Plus nice to see that you are a principled demon for a hired killer Moxxie!" Emily said beaming as Moxxie was flattered but Blitzo sighed with Loona shaking her head.
"Just when I thought that you were getting a f*cking spine Moxxie..." Blitzo muttered shaking his head.
Moxxie gets back with everyone at the portal and Millie says he has a good heart and a fuzzy head as she and Blitzo goes through the portal.
"You weren't too bad Moxxie..." Loona sighed reluctantly as Moxxie was taken aback to see him compliment him but smiled flattered. Charlie noticed and smiled.
Moxxie spots the house being blown by a missile from a police helicopter and the head of a teddy bear gets thrown to him.
Blitzo bursted into laughter as he got glares from Sera as Charlie and Emily screamed out loud horrified. "How could they do that... The authorities just did that..." Emily asked close to tears.
"At least... You tried..." Charlie managed to say as Vaggie shook her head with a sigh.
Blitzo drags him in as IMP and Mrs Mayberry are having a party with cake for killing the bitch.
"Are we going to have to cover our eyes for the endings of all of your adventures..." Sera asked looking to IMP as Blitzo sighed. "Still... At least I can see that there is good in even the hellborn..." Sera muttered as Charlie started to nod along with Vaggie and Emily.
"Hang on... Are you sure that you're Sera... I wouldn't think that you would ever think that there was any good in here..." Lucifer said suspiciously as Sera looked away.
"Well... Hopefully the next episode could be more upbeat..." Emily asked praying to the Lord as they took a moment to process what they had just saw before the next episode played.
